Wife and I got the camper cleaned and all packed today (minus the food of course) We have friends coming and camping at our place the Friday before since the pre-stage is cut so short. We are only 15 miles from the campgrounds so we will shoot up the road the night before to start jockying for position. LOL.

ok.. So how many are planning to be a part of the TBS/HCC compound? I know H75 and I are gonna, who else?
Chickie and I are mostly likely gonna be in line sometime Sunday. Not sure if it'll be very early, or later in the day. But we intend to setup in the thick of it and unless I'm out of the loop (very possible) we need some more Gold Rushers to try and get adjacent spots so we can obtain all the land we can when the general admission whistle blows! |

I have a group of degenerates that I have been camping with for years, so I will be passing on the TBS/HCC compound. But, looking forward to stopping by and stirring shit and partying as often as possible. If anyone is out and about they are more than invited to stop by my site, always have my pool set up, and food ready 24/7. I start a pot of chili the first day and add to it everyday, and at 3:00 am when you are drunk, it is beyond good. Keep crackers, spoons, bowls set out. Serve yourself, I hear folks all night getting it. Umm, I asked this at TBS and have not received a reply, I am guessing this may be a touchy subject after last year's 2nd place (should have been first) but here goes-is HCC/TBS thinking about a float or anything this year? I am thinking of making a little float for the OL and I, but might work on a group float if there is going to be one. Froggy

Yeah we are hoping to be more or less in the same spot. We have a couple of buddies that bought their own goldrush this year. They will be shooting for somewhere around us. Are you trying to get the same spot again? It's good to have neighbors that you don't have to worry about. Frees up more time for partying. |
